Legacy Ranch at golden hour, ponderosa pines and a wood lodge

Heber-Overgaard · Arizona

One ranch.
Four ways to stay.

A working ranch turned quiet retreat in the ponderosa pines of the Mogollon Rim — book the Lodge, the Barn, or the whole place.

A tribute to family, history & craftsmanship

A gathering place built to last for generations.

In the summer of 1997, the search began for the perfect location — a place where family could come together, share stories, and create lasting memories. That vision became Legacy Lodge, constructed with the finest handcrafted logs from British Columbia and old-world craftsmanship. Every detail, from hand-peeled cedar logs to the Arizona-mined copper roof, was chosen to blend durability with natural beauty. At its heart stands The Family Tree, a 1,250-year-old marvel that serves as both a structural and symbolic pillar.

The place

A quieter side of Arizona.

Heber-Overgaard sits at 6,600 feet on the edge of the Mogollon Rim, in the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest on Earth. Summers stay in the 80s, winters get real snow, and the night sky is dark enough to see the Milky Way every clear evening.
